Privacy Policy

I use WordPress.com to host this blog. WordPress collects some information from visitors to this site in order to provide services to me – so that I can see how many people visit my site in a day, for example.

Some of this information is collected automatically, such as technical data or information from cookies. You can turn off cookies on your browser if you want to.

Some of the information is collected when you enter information – by using the search bar, or leaving a comment. If you leave a comment, you will be asked to provide a name and an email address. If at any time you no longer wish me to store the comment, please contact me and I will delete it.

WordPress may share some unidentifiable information with third parties, for example as aggregated statistics.

You can read more about how WordPress uses and stores your information here.

In addition, I share some data with Google Analytics to better understand how people use the site. This can include non-personally identifiable information such as location, gender, age, how long you stay on each page and how many pages you visit. You can read Google’s Privacy Policy to learn more about how they use that data.

I do not have any third party adverts on the site. All adverts are placed by WordPress.

For giveaways, I may need to collect your email or home address and pass it on to a third party for delivery of the prize. If I do, I’ll inform you and I won’t keep your details for any longer than necessary.

If you have any questions, please contact me.
